Business owners, corporations, and third party interests may find situations that require the need to identify the value of a business, a specific division or asset of the enterprise, on a specific date.
Southbridge through-out its history has performed independent business valuations for a wide breadth of needs to include:
- Estate or Tax Planning

- Stock Option Plans
A business valuation must meet two tests; an accurate fair market value conclusion, and have clear and convincing defense of how the value was reached.
SAG performs the following valuation processes in each valuation:
- A thorough analysis of the enterprise, its operations, products and services offered, current industry competitive position, and analysis of its industry / markets
- Analysis and recast of current and past three years financials for EBIDTA cash-flow and fair market value of assets based on orderly disposal
- Development of a detailed valuation report that includes; a complete company summary and overview, industry information, financial history, business forecast, recast financial detail, and the valuation and support of value
SAG utilizes six to eight IRS approved methodologies, current market comparisons, and the experience of our certified valuators. Southbridge is active in merger and acquisitions and capital procurement facilitation, which allows us to more accurately reflect current market conditions in fair market value.
An Independent Business Valuation is a critical instrument to be utilized for value measurement in many functions to include sale or legal needs
